Police were searching for five year old Kenneth White, until early Friday morning. Kenneth was allegedly abducted from his home on Thursday afternoon in East Berne, NY.

Earlier reports say that the little boy was kidnapped by a white man and an unidentified man of an unknown race. The white man is suspected to be 5 foot 10 inches tall and was wearing a black ski mask, black clothes, and gloves. The two suspects were driving a black, four door extended cab pick up truck with an unknown license plate.

Albany County Sheriff Craig Apples told CBS 6 news that the two suspects broke into the home of Kenneth’s legal guardian, abducted the child, and then fled the scene. They held down the 19-year-old at the home who was watching the children and kidnapped Kenneth. Two other children, a 3-year-old and 4-year-old were also inside, but were not taken or harmed.

The 19-year-old was terrified but not harmed. She is the daughter of Kenneth’s legal guardian. The boy’s father lives in Massachusetts and his mother lives in Amsterdam. Neither parent has custody of Kenneth and had valid alibis. They are both ruled out of the case as suspects.

The vehicle was last seen driving on Thatcher Park Road in Berne, NY.
